What's New
The following features and enhancements are included in version 6.4 of the NowForce platform:
Single Sign On
NowForce supports mobile application secure SSO through Azure Entra ID.
- Users authenticate directly through your organization’s Azure AD.
- Login attempts from the NowForce mobile app (iOS or Android) are redirected to your Azure AD login page and access is granted after successful authentication via Azure AD.
- Each mobile user must exist in both Azure AD and NowForce. The NowForce password is not used when SSO is enabled.
Notes:
- The process to set SSO with Azure Entra requires collaboration with Intellicene Customer Support. Please contact the Intellicene Customer Support team to start the process.
- With SSO enabled, the Administrator who manages users does not have fields to manage the user password. As such, when using SOS, when the mobile user that activated SOS aborts it, you will not need to enter your user password.

Mobile application Log-in
The mobile login process was improved to support the following login flows, depending on how your organization has configured authentication:
- Standard Login (No MFA)
- Standard Login with MFA
- SSO-Based Login (Azure Entra ID)
- Forgot Password (applies to both standard login flows)
Due to the addition of SSO for mobile, the login screen for non-SSO users was changed. In the initial screen, the user types their username, and based on the username, if the organization does not use SSO, a new screen opens to type the user password.

Enforce Strong Password
- Every new profile is enforced to use strong password by default.
- Creating new users forces a strong password even if no profile was selected yet.
- Reset password in Dispatcher and mobile forces a strong password.
